CHAPLAINCY

St Harriet High is a Christian School, founded on the values and ethics of Christ. We believe in mentoring a person who is mature, effective and well balanced; one who will contribute immensely to the success of their family, community and an individual who is globally relevant. Our Christian values are the starting point for the whole enterprise, as such the school established a non denominational Chaplaincy department.

The Chaplaincy Department is headed by the School Chaplain, a qualified and ordained pastor. The Chaplain’s responsibilities in short are to offer spiritual, psycho-social and moral support to both learners and staff members of St Harriet.

PROGRAM

There will be morning class devotions (Monday – Friday) and a School Chapel service every Friday from 2pm to 3pm.

On Sundays, with the help of the School Chaplain, boarder students conduct a Chapel Service from 10am to 12pm.

Through the office of the Chaplain, weekly topics are given for a system and compulsory learning of all St Harriet members.

CHAPLAINCY COMMITTEE

A committee of both Students and teachers has been selected to work together with the School Chaplain. This committee has gone through training.
